One-day in the near future my soulmate will find me,

He sacrificed a part of him so I could exist

and so I was made from his rib,

The companion he chose,

a love that never dies,

only transforms…

When the time is right

The stars will align,

this is where our story will come to life. 

upon meeting me he will know

 I am “the one”

It will feel like “ Deja Vu”,

from a past life

,that we both knew

I waited many centuries for you. 

On a day that is chosen by fate,

can we meet each other again

His eyes will light up like the sun and his smile will melt my once frozen heart

he would do anything for me,  

I see it in his soul 

The familiarity of a past life

 that we both know 

 the extreme efforts of the unknown 

He would be the father to the little girl 

The innocence that was forgotten 

my heart will be his, 

An unopened gift 

A treasure no one has ever possessed,

My first love 

My soulmate… 

The forever created,

forged in my dreams,

The true feeling of bliss

 The one that gave himself for me

I lose myself and I become free 

no longer forsaken or used for vanity,

 He sees the real me,

He loved me before he even knew me

 the mask I wear in front of the world,

revealed for him alone

He was my destiny told 

 The prayer I’ve been asking for 

I see him only in Dreams,

 my thoughts procreate, 

the illusion of a past life where once we had met, 

 I set forth the stage ,

 as we both play the game,

looking for one another through this masquerade

I know him only in dreams

My mind has planted the seed

I know in this life we are meant to meet. 

As daylight brings sunlight

The beautiful cruel sun torturing my sorrow,

Reminding me of the emptiness, 

 Alone, unloved, forsaken, 

I disappear in the shadows,

waiting for the night and dreams that follow

that is the only place he lives for now

I patiently wait for him

until then I continue this charade 

 collecting names I will forget, and faces I will never see again. 

until  “The one” comes forth to light

and we are united in this life with

“the one” we are meant to meet over and over for all eternity…

 replacing what is a gift from the universe
